DR. STUDY does not exclude any rights or remedies available to you under the Trade Practices Act or similar state or territory legislation that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by law. Otherwise, DR. STUDY and its officers, employees, franchisees, and agents exclude all conditions and warranties in connection with the ownership and operation of the Website, including those that may be implied by law. 

You expressly agree and understand that in no circumstances will DR. STUDY or its officers, employees, franchisees, or agents be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage of any nature that may arise from:

 Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of tutoring services provided by DR. STUDY (DR. PROGRESS GROUP PTY LTD) to students and their parents/guardians (“Clients”). By enroling in tutoring services with DR. STUDY, Clients agree to abide by these Terms.

Enrolment and Registration:

Clients must complete the enrolment and registration process with DR. STUDY before accessing tutoring services and resources.

Clients must provide accurate and up-to-date information during the enrolment process, including student details, contact information, and any relevant academic or medical information.

Tutoring Services:

DR. STUDY will provide tutoring services to Clients in accordance with the terms outlined in the enrolment agreement and any additional agreements between the parties.

Tutoring services may include academic tutoring, test preparation, homework assistance, and other educational support services as agreed upon by DR. STUDY and the Client.

Payment and Fees:

At DR. STUDY, we strive to provide a seamless and convenient payment experience for our clients. To ensure the smooth operation of our tutoring services, tuition fees will be debited 10 days in advance of the next month’s sessions. 

This payment system allows us to effectively manage scheduling, resources, and administrative tasks, enabling us to maintain the high-quality service our clients deserve. We understand the importance of transparency and reliability in financial transactions, and we are committed to providing clear communication and support regarding billing matters.

  • Clients are responsible for paying all fees associated with tutoring services as outlined in the enrolment agreement.
  • Fees may vary depending on factors such as the type of tutoring services, frequency of sessions, and duration of enrolment.
  • Payment terms, including due dates, accepted payment methods, and late payment penalties, will be specified in the enrolment agreement.
  • DR.STUDY reserves the right to update the payment and fee structure periodically.
  • Factors such as changes in operating costs, market conditions, demand for services, or other relevant factors may necessitate adjustments to pricing. 
  • By enroling in our tutoring services, clients acknowledge and accept the possibility of future changes to pricing. 
  • DR. STUDY will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of any pricing adjustments and ensure transparency in the communication of such changes.

Billing Cycle

Payments for tutoring services/fees are processed monthly via direct debit or credit card 10 days in advance of the next month’s sessions. This billing cycle operates as follows:

  1. Initial Setup: The tuition payment agreement specifies that fees will be automatically debited from the client’s nominated account every month, specifically 10 days before the start of the next month.
    A) This payment covers all scheduled sessions in the upcoming month.
    B) The total payment may vary month-to-month based on whether there are four or five scheduled sessions in the upcoming month.
  2. Advance Notice: Clients are informed in advance about the upcoming billing cycle and the amount that will be debited from their accounts, providing clients with ample time to ensure sufficient funds are available in their accounts.
  3. Automatic Debit: On the designated date, which is typically 10 days before the start of the next month, the agreed-upon tuition fee is automatically debited from the client’s bank account or charged to their designated payment method.
  4. Monthly Recurrence: This billing cycle repeats itself monthly, ensuring that tuition fees are collected in advance for the upcoming month’s services.
  5. Continuous Service: As long as the client wishes to continue receiving tutoring services, the billing cycle will continue monthly, providing uninterrupted access to educational support. Clients can expect the same process to repeat each month, with fees being debited 10 days in advance of the subsequent month.
    a) Services can be paused or cancelled as per the relevant policies
  6. Adjustments: Any changes to tuition fees or billing details are communicated to clients in advance to ensure transparency and avoid confusion. This may include rate adjustments, changes to the billing date, or updates to payment methods.

Overall, the monthly billing cycle with a 10-day advance debit ensures a consistent and predictable process for both the tutoring company and its clients, facilitating smooth financial transactions and continuous access to educational services.

Late Payments

A 10% late payment fee will be applied to your account for late payments. For example, if an authorised fee payment fails processing on the 22nd of the month, an additional 10% of the total payable fees will be automatically debited from your nominated account.

Registration Fee

This one-off fee is payable in advance of program commencement and is owed for each separate program enrolment. 

This fee covers several aspects to ensure the smooth initiation of tutoring services.

1. Customised Learning Plan:

  • Development of a personalised learning plan tailored to the student’s individual needs, learning style, and academic objectives.

2. Materials and Resources:

  • Provision of tutoring materials, personalised workbooks, stationery, textbooks, workbooks, practice tests, and educational resources necessary to support the student’s learning journey.

3. Tutor Matching:

  • Matching the student with appropriately qualified tutor/s with expertise in the relevant subject area and teaching style that aligns with the student’s preferences.

4. Administrative Support:

  • Administrative assistance, scheduling coordination, and customer support services to facilitate smooth communication between tutors, students, and parents/guardians.

5. Access to Technology Support:

  • Access to online learning platforms, educational software, and digital resources to supplement tutoring sessions and enhance learning outcomes.

The registration fee will only be reapplied if a student pauses their studies for more than three months.

Refund Policy

At Dr. Study Learning, we strive to provide exceptional educational services and flexible scheduling to accommodate our students’ needs. As such, we do not offer refunds due to the flexibility of our cancellation and makeup policies.
