A guide to Our Science Plus Program
Science is a highly valuable and expansive resource that is often overlooked when considering core programs.
At Dr Study, we’ve designed our comprehensive Science coursework to attend to our student’s curiosity and expand on their understanding of key scientific principles.
What The Program Covers
The Science Plus program covers all fundamental sections of science including: Astronomy, Biology, Body Systems, Chemistry, Earth and Life Sciences, Forensics, Physics and Psychology.
Students are provided with a large array of resources which are assigned in consideration to their level and abilities. These resources are not limited to modules, extension tests, quizzes, simulation and computer activities, workbooks, experiments, and case studies. These activities are developed with the goal of preparing young minds for their journey towards VCE programs and tertiary studies. We also assist with this transition by providing specific pre-science Headstart materials.
Our learning materials are pre-set but are modified and assigned based on a student’s passion for science and discovery. We intend to build on this enthusiasm by educating students with fundamental knowledge that facilitates clever solutions to the current problems faced across the globe.
How the Science Program Works
1. Assess:
We start with a complementary assessment to create a customised tutoring plan that fits each student's individual needs.
2. Match:
Our advanced matching system connects students with tutors who can best meet their personality and academic requirements.
3.Tutor:
Our weekly tutoring sessions run for a minimum of 60 minutes, and we provide bonus homework which promotes progress, organisation, and self-directed study. Our tutors use mixed method teaching approaches to keep students actively engaged and productive, and our 1:4 teacher-to-student ratio in classes ensures every child receives the attention and support they require.

We walk with you every step of the way, offering regular updates and ongoing support for your family.
